Project mission: The development and utilitisation of musical and theatrical tools to support (improvised) theatrical performances with improvised (and applicable) sound, vision or music.
The quest started out by experimenting with different multimedial principles and has recently moved more towards percussion and 100% unplugged accoustic tools. The common goal is always that any set of audiovisual tools must be able to interact and improvise on the same level and (preferably with the same speed) as the actors, players or dancers on stage.
This site is an (ambitious?) effort to bring together as much information about this brand new dicipline. I hope that it might grow to become a means to bring fellow software developers, theatre makers, actors and multimedia and/or improv enthousiasts together.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional ideas or information about the subject. Or if you think I can help your own theatrical idea or project with any of the stuff that is described on these pages.

8 acteurs, 3 muzikanten, 1 regisseur en meer dan 100 wortels: Improvisatiesensatie! De Fluffy Suicide Bunnies, specialisten in korte komische scenes, zetten een improvisatievoorstelling neer zoals je hem nog nooit gezien hebt. Met handgeplukte gastspelers, steengoede muzikanten en een razendsnelle regisseur die de acteurs voortdurend voor het blok zet om zo het beste uit iedereen te halen. Aanschouw. Knabbel. Turf. Breek een lans (het plafond is laag). Zing mee met de mini-musical op het eind. Wil je na afloop de teksten mee naar huis? Schrijf dan mee tijdens de show want alles is 100% geïmproviseerd. The annual 'Nederlands Studentenkampioenschap (NSK) theatersport' (Dutch students championships of theatresports) is an important event for various theatresports groups in the Netherlands. This years competition will be held saturday september 30th and sunday october 1st 2006 in Groningen. For more information (in Dutch only) take a look on www.ulteam.nl/nsk. ImproMedia has been asked to support the competitions both days with percussion, sound FX and ambiances. |

From july 23th until august 5 2006, Stockholm was the stage of the 23th FISM World Championships of Magic. More information about the convention and the competition winners on http://www.fism.com/ ImproMedia was (just as in 2003) asked to handle all competition ranking and statistics with our dedicated software LiveScore. |

[15/01/2006] - The Internationale Improvisation Theatre Festival |

On the 10th (2005) and 11th (2006) International Improvisation Theatre Festival I was already there with the Live SFX console and the 'unplugged' Live Percussion respectively. Keep an eye on the special website of the festival to stay informed about the upcoming event. In 2007 the festival will be held 22nd to januari 27th in Amsterdam. |
